My favorite outstanding leader is Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest Nobel Prize laureate. Malala's story began in her hometown of Mingora, Pakistan, when she was just eleven years old. She bravely spoke out against the Taliban's ban on girls attending school and became an advocate for girls' education worldwide. Malala has demonstrated remarkable courage and determination in her fight for girls’ rights to education. She was shot in the head by a Taliban gunman while riding home from school in 2012, but miraculously survived. Despite this attack and numerous death threats, she remained undeterred and continued to speak out on behalf of young women everywhere who are denied an education due to poverty or cultural restrictions. In 2014, she became the youngest person ever to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her “struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education” Malala has used her fame as a platform to bring attention to issues such as gender inequality, poverty, global health care access and climate change. She has written two books about her life story which have inspired millions around the world including myself. In addition, she has founded The Malala Fund which works with local communities across Pakistan, Nigeria, Jordan and other countries to ensure that every girl receives 12 years of free quality secondary education with safe learning environments so they can achieve their potentials. In conclusion I believe that Malala Yousafzai is an inspiration not only to women but also men around the world who are striving towards making a difference in their respective communities or societies at large .Her bravery , determination , resilience , commitment towards fighting for justice , equality & human rights makes her one of my most favorite outstanding leaders .
