On the afternoon of November 20, the Municipal Sanitation Management Bureau held a civilized traffic safety training meeting in the conference room of the municipal government. The meeting was chaired by Li Yuxiang, Deputy Director of the Municipal Sanitation Management Bureau. All relevant personnel from public security, traffic police and sanitation departments attended the meeting. At the meeting, Li Yuxiang introduced in detail the importance of civilized traffic safety for urban sanitation management and its far-reaching significance in maintaining social stability and promoting economic development. He pointed out that it is necessary to increase publicity and education on civilized traffic safety to enhance people's awareness of obeying laws and regulations, respecting traffic rules and creating a harmonious environment for urban sanitation management. The representatives from public security, traffic police and sanitation departments also spoke one after another at the meeting. They all expressed their opinions on how to carry out publicity activities for civilized traffic safety in combination with their own work responsibilities; they also discussed how to improve people's awareness of obeying laws and regulations related to urban sanitation management through joint efforts from different departments. Finally, Li Yuxiang put forward several specific requirements for strengthening propaganda activities on civilized traffic safety: firstly, strengthen communication between different departments; secondly, strengthen supervision over road construction projects; thirdly, establish a standardized system for punishing illegal behaviors related to road transportation; fourthly, strengthen personnel training on civilized transportation knowledge; fifthly, increase investment in public facilities such as garbage bins along roadsides etc., so as to create an environment conducive to civilized transportation behavior. After discussion at this training meeting , all participants have reached consensus on further enhancing publicity activities on road civilization transportation so as to promote healthy development of urban sanitation management work .
