广东云浮罗定灵山寺
Ling Shan Temple is located in Luoding City, Yunfu City, Guangdong Province. It is one of the four famous Buddhist temples in Guangdong Province. The temple was built in the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,200 years. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit.
The temple covers an area of more than 10,000 square meters and has many buildings such as halls, pavilions and courtyards. The main hall is the Great Buddha Hall with five statues of Sakyamuni Buddha on both sides. There are also statues of Maitreya Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva, Amitabha Buddha and other gods in the hall. In addition to these statues, there are also many cultural relics such as stone carvings from the Tang Dynasty and ancient bronze bells from the Song Dynasty that can be seen here.
Every year on April 8th (the birthday of Sakyamuni) and October 18th (the day when Sakyamuni attained enlightenment), Ling Shan Temple will hold grand religious activities which attract a large number of tourists from all over the country to participate in them.
