清明祭英烈

Qingming Festival is a traditional Chinese festival. It is also known as the Tomb Sweeping Day or the Cold Food Festival. It falls on the 104th day after the winter solstice (or the 15th day from the Spring Equinox). On this day, people hold memorial ceremonies for their ancestors and sweep their tombs to show respect and filial piety. People also fly kites, eat cold food and go on outings with family members to enjoy nature. This festival has a long history in China, dating back to over 2,500 years ago during the Zhou Dynasty (1046-256 BC).
