It can be widely used in subway stations with high water pressure or large temperature changes . Polyethylene-Based Material: Polyethylene - based material has excellent flexibility at low temperatures (-60℃), excellent adhesion to various substrates such as concrete or metal surfaces , strong water resistance , long service life (over 25 years) , relatively higher cost than asphalt based material . It can be widely used in subway stations with high water pressure or large temperature changes . Bituminous Membranes: Bituminous membranes have good flexibility at low temperatures (-20℃), good adhesion to various substrates such as concrete or metal surfaces , strong water resistance , short service life (up to 5 years) but relatively lower cost than other materials . They can be widely used in subway stations where there is no need for long term protection from external factors. Other Composite Waterproof Materials : There are also other composite waterproofing materials which have different features depending on their composition. They usually have better performance than single layer membrane structures but also higher costs compared with single layer membrane structures. Conclusion In conclusion, different types of waterproofing materials should be selected according to the specific conditions of each metro station detail structure so that they can provide effective protection against external factors while ensuring safety and reliability of the structure itself.
