The failure of self-waterproofing concrete structures in subway stations can cause serious consequences such as water leakage, moisture accumulation and even structural damage. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the causes of self-waterproofing failure in order to take effective measures to prevent it. Material Causes The most common cause of self-waterproofing failure in subway station concrete structures is related to materials. Poor quality materials or improper selection can lead to reduced waterproof performance or even complete failure. In addition, improper construction technology or lack of maintenance can also lead to material aging and loss of waterproof performance. Construction Causes Construction errors are also one of the main causes of self-waterproofing failures in subway station concrete structures.
