Female Party Member 3: I agree, but we must also consider other important issues such as economic justice, education reform and social welfare programs which will benefit everyone regardless of their gender identity or orientation. (We open on a group of young women gathered around talking about the importance of joining the party and getting involved in politics.) Young Female 1: Joining the party is one way we can make sure our voices are heard and that change happens! We need more people like us who understand what it’s like to live in this world today, who understand how much work needs to be done to create true equality among all genders. Young Female 2: That’s right! We need more people like us who are willing to fight for what’s right and make sure that no one is left behind or forgotten about when it comes to creating change in society! (The conversation continues with each young woman sharing her thoughts on how best they can get involved with making change happen).
