It is a way of analyzing the decisions made by two or more parties at a particular point in time, and their respective outcomes. Game theory has been used in many areas, including economics, politics, sociology and even military strategy. In this paper, we will use the natural dialectic approach to explain game theory and provide examples of how it can be used to analyze problems. Theoretical Background Game theory is based on the concept that all participants have certain goals they wish to achieve through their interactions with one another. In order for them to do so successfully, they must come up with strategies that maximize their gains while minimizing their losses. This is where game theory comes into play – it helps participants identify the best possible strategies given the current situation. To illustrate this concept further, let us look at a simple example: two people are playing a game of rock-paper-scissors. In this game, each player has three choices: rock (R), paper (P) or scissors (S). Each player must choose one option without knowing what choice his/her opponent will make beforehand. This is known as a zero-sum game – each participant’s gain or loss depends entirely on his/her own decision and his/her opponent’s decision combined. The best possible strategy for each participant would be to anticipate what choice their opponent will make and then select an option accordingly in order to gain an advantage over them (i.e., if you think your opponent will choose rock, you should choose scissors). Natural Dialectic Approach To apply the natural dialectic approach when examining game theory it is important to recognize that both sides have valid arguments which should be taken into consideration when evaluating any situation involving multiple parties vying for resources or power over one another . It is also essential that both sides understand each other's perspectives , since conflict often arises due to lack of understanding between different perspectives . The aim then should be not only finding solutions which are mutually beneficial , but also finding ways in which both sides can work together harmoniously towards achieving desired objectives . Example Analysis As previously mentioned , let us now consider a zero sum game example involving two players : Player A and Player B . Both players are trying to maximize their gains by selecting options from R , P or S . According to our natural dialectic approach , we would take into account both players' interests and try our best come up with strategies that satisfy both players' needs . For instance , if Player A thinks Player B will select Rock ( R ) then he could select Scissors ( S ) as his own option since Scissors beats Rock . Similarly , if Player B expects Player A will choose Rock then he could opt for Paper instead since Paper beats Rock . By doing so both players are able satisfy their respective interests while ensuring they don't suffer any losses as well since they have taken into account what choices the other player might make before making theirs own decisions accordingly Conclusion Through this essay we have discussed how we can use natural dialectics in combination with economic game theory when analyzing various scenarios such as zero sum games like rock paper scissors mentioned above . We concluded that taking into account different perspectives involved in any given situation is essential before coming up with viable solutions which meet everyone's needs while minimizing potential losses suffered by any one side involved in the interaction process at hand
