Good morning everyone, Today I am here to talk about how to shoot and edit a short video. First of all, let's go over the basics of shooting a video. 1. Choose your subject: Before you start shooting your video, it is important to decide what kind of video you want to make. It could be about anything from a product review to an event or even a tutorial. 2. Select your equipment: You need the right equipment for capturing high-quality videos such as cameras, microphones and lights. Make sure that you have all the necessary items before starting the shoot. 3. Set up the scene: Once you have selected your equipment, it’s time to set up the scene for shooting your video. This includes setting up lighting and sound levels as well as positioning yourself in front of the camera so that you can be seen clearly on screen. Now let’s move on to editing your short video! 1. Import files into editing software: The first step is importing all of the footage that was captured during filming into an editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro X. This will allow you to organize and edit all of your clips in one place without having to jump back and forth between different programs or applications.. 2. Edit clips together: Once everything is imported into the software, it’s time to start putting everything together by trimming each clip down so that only relevant parts are used in order for them to fit together perfectly within the timeline of your project.. 3 . Add effects and transitions : To give more life and interest into our projects we can add effects like color correction or transitions between clips which help make our videos look more professional.. 4 . Export final project : When everything looks just right, it’s time export our final project! Make sure that when exporting out file formats are correct according with what type of platform we plan on sharing our videos such as YouTube , Vimeo etc… That's all for today!
