When I was a child, my parents taught me to do housework. I remember that every day when I got up, my mother asked me to clean the room, wipe the dust and make the bed. When I was in primary school, my father asked me to wash dishes after dinner. Later, when I went to junior high school, my mother asked me to help with the laundry and ironing clothes. In order to help my parents share their housework burden, I often do some simple housework on weekends. For example，I usually cook breakfast for them on Saturday morning and clean the living room in the afternoon. On Sunday morning，I usually go shopping with my mother and help her carry groceries back home. Afternoon，I will help them water plants in garden or sweep leaves fallen from trees outside our home. Doing housework not only helps reduce parents' burden but also can cultivate children's sense of responsibility and independence from an early age .It is an important part of life education for children .Therefore ,we should encourage our children to do housework actively since childhood .
