In addition to implementation issues, there are also some other challenges that need to be addressed when considering future applications of educational technology. One such challenge is how to ensure that students have access to the necessary resources for learning regardless of their location or economic status. Another challenge is how best to integrate new technologies into existing curricula without sacrificing quality instruction or overwhelming students with too much information (Miyagi et al., 2020). Finally, there is a need for research into effective ways of assessing student performance in order to ensure that they are being appropriately challenged by the material they are presented with (Lambert & Farley-Ripple, 2018).
