As a matter of fact, aging population has become a serious problem around the world. For one thing, with the improvement of living standard and medical technology, people are living longer than ever before. As a result, the proportion of elderly people in the population is increasing rapidly while that of young people is decreasing correspondingly. This leads to an imbalance between supply and demand in labor market and puts great pressure on social security system. For another, elderly people often suffer from physical or mental problems due to their age. They need more care and attention from family members or even society as a whole. However, due to lack of resources and personnel, it's often difficult for them to get enough help from outside. Therefore, it's urgent for us to take measures to tackle this problem effectively. On one hand, governments should increase investment in medical services for senior citizens so as to ensure their health condition; on the other hand，we should attach more importance to providing necessary assistance for them both financially and emotionally so that they can live their lives with dignity and respect. In conclusion，aging population is an issue that needs our urgent attention，and we must take action now in order to build a better future for our elders as well as ourselves.
