《〈黑衣女人〉第13章内容摘要》

In Chapter 13 of The Woman in Black, Arthur Kipps visits Mrs. Drablow's estate, Eel Marsh House, for the first time. He is accompanied by Mr. Jerome and his driver Sam Daily. As they approach the house, they notice that it is surrounded by an eerie marsh and fog which makes it difficult to see anything clearly. Despite this, they can make out a tall black figure standing on the edge of the marsh watching them approach. When they arrive at Eel Marsh House, Arthur discovers that it is in a state of disrepair and has been neglected for years. Inside he finds a number of strange objects such as dolls and toys which have been left behind by Mrs. Drablow's children who died young. After exploring the house further, Arthur notices a black-clad figure standing outside looking into one of the windows and realizes that this must be the mysterious woman in black he has heard so much about.
