This can be especially difficult for young people who may not yet have the skills or experience necessary to make informed decisions. At the same time, having choices can also be empowering as it gives individuals a sense of control over their own lives. It allows them to explore different paths and find what works best for them. It can also help build problem-solving skills, resilience, independence, confidence, and creativity as they navigate various options in order to reach their goals. Ultimately, life is harder when you have choices because it requires more effort on your part but it also has many potential rewards if you are willing to take risks and trust yourself enough to make your own decisions.
