It also affects climate change by reducing carbon sinks which absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Scene 2: (We now see an industrial city with smog-filled skies) Narrator: Air pollution is another major environmental issue caused by human activities such as burning fossil fuels for energy production or transportation. This leads to poor air quality which can cause serious health problems such as respiratory illnesses or even cancer in humans and other organisms exposed to it. Scene 3: (We now see an ocean with a large number of fishing boats trawling its waters) Narrator: Overfishing is another form of environmental destruction that affects marine ecosystems around the world. As fish populations decline due to excessive fishing practices, entire food webs can be disrupted which can lead to further declines in biodiversity and ecosystem health overall. (Conclusion) Narrator: We must take action now if we want to protect our planet from further destruction and ensure its sustainability for future generations. We must reduce our impact on the environment by using renewable energy sources instead of fossil fuels and practicing sustainable fishing methods that don’t deplete fish stocks beyond recovery levels
